Growing Purple Daikon Radish In Containers

They say "Eat a rainbow". Which is why you should grow your own fruits and vegetables at home, you can grow the most interesting and flavorful varieties right here in your back yard! In today's post we discuss about growing a Daikon radish variety which is purple in color.

Above are two photos of how the purple daikon radish looks like, they are dark pink/purple in color and are quite big in size.

When growing them in containers, use a wide container (at least 10 inches wide) for a big harvest

Alternatively you can use a smaller container to grow one radish plant:
