Growing Radish - Japanese Minowase - The Classic Radish!

Aah...that classic radish taste! One bite into the Japanese Minowase radish will keep you wanting for more. Although radishes come in a variety of colors and flavors, the Japanese Minowase radish is one that is not only crunchy, hot and delicious, it also has a very acceptable size compared to the other radish varieties.

  1. I grew similar radishes in a pot. I didn't read that they get as big as they did so as a result planted as if they were small radishes. As you can imagine, they quickly became rootbound and growth was checked. However they were still tasty, if a bit thin.
